Arron watched her as she scrambled around her room, trying to throw together a perfect outfit to wear on the date tonight. Hebe was his best friend, no doubt about that but sometimes she was so girly. Arron often wondered why his best friend was a girl. He was a fairly sociable person, he could've befriended a lot of the guys. But no matter what he did, he always thought Hebe as his best friend. People questioned him about it, whether he liked Hebe or not. He usually laughed and denied it with his mouth, but with his heart, he couldn't.
"Arron, do you think I should wear the yellow sweater with the dark denium jeans or the purple top with the black skirt?" Hebe asked him, placing articles of clothing upon the bed for him to look at. He glanced at them and then looked at Hebe.
"I say you wear the yellow sweater and the jeans" Arron answered. Hebe was a naturally cute lady and she looked cute in almost anything she wore. However, because the purple top was a little too revealing for his tastes, he'd rather her wear the yellow sweater. But if he was the one going on the date with her, he'd prefer her to wear the purple top. But that wasn't going to happen.
"You're right, can I borrow your scarf?" Hebe questioned him as she tossed the purple outfit aside. She didn't wait for him to answer, but went across the hall anyways to grab a scarf from Arron's closet. Being best friends and all, they roomed together in an apartment. After graduating college and moving out into the real world, it was harsh and Hebe clinged onto Arron for support. Arron was more than willing to cooperate. Thus, they shared an apartment.
"This one looks nice," Hebe commented as she walked in, holding a black triangle scarf. She often borrowed his scarves, hats, shorts and shirts because it gave her a feeling of being at home where she belonged. Upon learning this, his heart fluttered but he just smiled at her and gave her a pat on the back.
Arron nodded and continued to watch her as she went towards her closet to pick out a pair of shoes to wear.
"Which pair should I wear, Ah Bu?" Hebe asked him, adding the cute little nickname she had dubbed him when they were in high school. "These flats are cute, but these heels are sexy..."
"Go for the cute ones," Arron replied almost immediately. "You don't want to give off the wrong image of yourself. Do you now?"
Hebe shook her head and grabbed the black flats that were dubbed the "cute" shoes. "Okay, I think my outfit is good now. So Ah Bu, could you go?"
Arron got up and headed out of the room. He went into his own room and sat down on his bed. Traces of Hebe were all over the place. From her pictures to her writings on the wall, someone could easily mistake this for her room, if not for the artwork on the wall that read "Arron's Room".
Evidence of their longtime friendship was all over the room, from photos to writing on the wall. Each picture frame had its own memory, a day in Arron's life that Hebe brightened. Judging from the pictures, you'd assume they were a couple who had been in love for years. However, they were just best friends.
"Okay," Hebe opened the door to her room and walked into Arron's room. He scanned her up and down, soaking in the simple beauty of Hebe Tian. She looked like a mature woman yet looked also like a cute, adorable girl. It was the perfect look for her. Arron smiled.
"You look amazing, he won't be able to keep his eyes off you" Arron said, meaning every word he spoke. She nodded in excitement, looking at herself once again in the mirror Arron had on his door.
"I hope he'll like me" Hebe let out a breath and closed her eyes.
"He already does, hence the date" Arron pointed out.
Hebe's smile grew as she turned to her best friend. "Okay, I'm going now. Bye, bye Ah Bu. I'll be back tonight" Then she walked out of his bedroom. It was like this all the time, Hebe went on dates, searching for the perfect guy to love and cherish her while he stayed at home, waiting to mend her heart in case it was broken at anytime.

That's the first part of my new story "Back Home". I can't post the story because I don't have the account for it so I thought I'd blog it up!
So today's been boring. I chatted with a few friends on AIM today, but that just kind of died out. Then I watched TV, then played games but I didn't write anything...other than a few drabbles which are probably too personal to show you guys. I spoke to my cousin for at least two hours or something. Me and flippy just talk for hours about the most random things. For instance :
Ice Queen : STUPID INFLATION! ISN'T THE ECONOMY GETTING SLIGHTLY BETTER?
Flipxsideee : I GUESS. GO OBAMA! AND WHY ARE WE TYPING IN CAPS?
Ice Queen: BECAUSE I FEEL SO PASSIONATELY ABOUT OUR COUNTRY'S FINANCIAL SITUATION.
Also...
Flipxsideee: We're pretty similar and we get the same stuff for Christmas just because we're the same age.
Ice Queen: Did I tell you how awesome that is...
Flipxsideee: Very. We can match all the time.
Ice Queen: ...Freaking...yay...
Flipxsideee: So I have a plan. One of us is going to get super obsese so they won't buy us similar stuff...no wait...that's not a good plan.
Ice Queen: Really now?
Yeah...
Flipxsideee: It's a love hate relationship (:
Ice Queen: This is a love hate relationship. I hate him, he hates me and we love that we hate each other. Muahahaha...
Flipxsideee: LOL xD
We're weird. I know that. Those aren't our actual screenames by the way so don't try to add us and talk to us. But if you do and someone does answer...that's not me...
That's enough now. I just wanted to show you guys that Ice Queen can be weird...as you can see above. Yeah, will rant more often but right now, I'm going to go eat some pho like a true Viet :]
Keep the BeBu Train moving!
Ice Queen.
