Mockingbirds, Stories and Locked in Time
Thursday, June 4, 2009

Summer vacation has been here for about a few days already. I've been working on my stupid honors essay. I have to read 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee and write an essay and do a dialect journal...which I still don't know what it is.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" is considered a piece of classic American literature. From all my classmates, they all told me that the book was unbelievably boring. However, I, like the nerd that I am, thought it was quite interesting. It's not one of my favorite books in the world. I would rather be reading Harry Potter or something like that...but it's not that bad of a book.

It focusses on a little town called Maycomb in Alabama from the point of view of Scout Finch, a little child not yet nine years old. It deals with racism and discrimination. I'm not done with the book yet, but I'm only chapter 25.

Anywho, I've started Sunrises...finally. I mean, after a while of planning it, I just started it today. Ice Queen is super lazy. Sunsets is completed, meaning I can move on. As for my other stories, I'm braindead.

Mending the Pieces, I kind of like how I ended it so now I can write the end and end it with a BANG. Like BIG Bang. Not just the Korean group, but like an explosion.

Keep an eye out for that then.

As for Love Story, brain dead as well. I've strayed too much from Romeo and Juliet so I seriously want to just throw the story out the window. But I'll build up the drama and then finish it off.

Blind to the Public Eye is my favorite, yet it's the hardest to write. It's based off of real life events so I can't go completely out of my mind. Which sucks. I think this story will be the longest and least updated.

All my other stories should be updated sooner or later.

I heard S.H.E.'s new song, "Suo Zhu Shi Jian" or "Locked in Time" and fell in love. Their voices are so pretty and the song paints a nice picture. I imagine it as a wedding song. It's a really pretty song. If you haven't heard it yet...GO!

That's all I have to say for now. I should do a huge rant one day because I miss that. Anywho, thanks for taking time to read it!

Ice Queen.
